This year, Family of Christ International is celebrating a joyful milestone: the 3rd anniversary of Family of Christ Church. What began as a small prayer gathering in a warehouse has grown into a thriving church that embodies both spiritual growth and humanitarian service for the people of Ukraine.
From a Warehouse to a Community of Hope
Three years ago, just 10 believers met in a warehouse filled with boxes of humanitarian aid. The space was simple, but God’s presence was powerful. In those early gatherings, people prayed, encouraged one another, and laid the foundation for what would become a vibrant community of faith.
Today, that same church has grown to include 70 adults and 30 children who gather each week to worship, learn, and support one another. What started with humble beginnings has become a living example of how faith and service can flourish even in the most difficult times.
Meeting Both Spiritual and Practical Needs
Family of Christ International was created to bring hope to Ukraine. Not only through humanitarian aid like food, housing, and medical support, but also through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The church is a natural extension of this mission.
Over the past three years, the church has witnessed:

300 people accepting Christ and beginning their journey of faith.

Four Alpha courses where more than 150 people explored Christianity in a safe and welcoming environment.

Families and individuals finding both spiritual and practical support in the midst of war and uncertainty.
A Testament to God’s Faithfulness
The growth of Family of Christ is a reminder that God is at work even in the darkest valleys. From children learning to pray to adults finding peace in worship, lives are being transformed. This church is not just a congregation, it is a beacon of hope for the region.
